Dr. John R. Craft, was a featured speaker for the 92nd Graphic Communications Education Association Conference

Dr. John R. Craft, Professor in the Graphic Arts and Imaging Technology Program, was a featured speaker for the 92nd Graphic Communications Education Association Conference held on the campus of Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, July 15—July 20, 2017. The title of his presentation was Enhanced Digital Printing—Breaking Away from Traditional Print Technology. His presentation addressed enhanced digital printing as a newly emerging technology replacing traditional production printing technology such as offset, gravure, flexography, and screen-printing. Samples from leading enhanced digital inkjet printer manufacturers were provided to members attending his presentation. To support his presentation, images, articles, and print samples were collected from drupa 2016, an international print and cross media trade show that occurs every four years in Düsseldorf, Germany.
